Random uneven idle at start

My 2012 35i has a random uneven idle when starting. You can see the tach moving up and down around 500 RPMs for around a minute and hear the engine going up and down. After a minute or so it evens out and is fine.

Our 2011 35i has never done this.

Anyone experienced this?

Search my posts/threads for more info.

I have a 3.0si, but basically it's a cylinder misfire symptom.

Please.

The OP might have misfires (highly doubtful, I suspect idle air control issues, vacuum leak, maybe a lower setpoint for the idle making the 2012's idle variation more noticeable) but you just cannot make such a diagnosis based on what he posted.

It's like someone saying 'my car stalled' and replying 'that happened to me, it is basically a bent rod'

Yep. All possible. I'm taking it in for the creaky seat and I'll have them check this at the same time

Yup and it's why someone really needs to straighten you out. You're hell bent on attacking people to compensate for whatever flaws you have in your life. And it's even more pathetic the only way to vent out is through online.

I said "I have a 3.0si, but basically it's a cylinder misfire symptom"
I was speaking from my experience and "it's" was a short for "it was" meaning I have a 3.0si and it was a cylinder misfire symptom from my experience.

And even without the explanation, the OP isn't going to take the post as a fact above everything else and shun any diagnosis or a fix from the dealer.

You were just nitpicking to cause an altercation and make yourself feel better. Surprise surprise typical ard. Sounds like a dictionary definition of a troll.

Heed my advice. Go see a shrink and take some Prozac. Keep the negativity to yourself. There's no one here who's willing to be indulgent to your childish tantrum.

Autoque, I tried in my thread. He left but obviously has not changed. Here's the link for reference: http://www.xoutpost.com/818112-post46.html
