Apparently so is English.

mrbmwx5 06-06-2011 09:58 PM

I know my English is not that good .I came to America when I was 20 years old (1992) and don't have enough chance to go to school like all of you guys ... But I got lucky ... Got alot of help from my uncles . They help me started on my own business . If any of you don't believe me just ask the Owner of this website .

It's one thing having mediocre English. It's another being arrogant about things such as your income. I applaud you for being so successful, especially without a proper education, but there is a fine line that is sometimes crossed. Whether you meant to cross it or not, it came across as though you were being arrogant. Hence the responses you've received.

Let's get back on topic!

College student = lowest bracket :( haha

Sample size seems fair. There are clearly a lot of variables that could skew the results but like the OP said who cares its just a post to pass the time.

In other news "Gameover" choked and died last night while trying to wax his own nob. Tragic, truly tragic.

mrbmwx5 06-07-2011 12:37 AM

I am not arrogant,i just share it because you have asked about income.

if i earnt half a mill a year i'd buy a newer car... or maybe even a new one... but that's me.

These threads are always dumb. Nothing good ever comes from them...

I'll not add my vote to the poll, but I'll point out that $40k, $50k a month sounds like a lot to someone with one car.

But I have 6 cars and two trailers. (And some other off road things) They can't all be 996TTs, or M5s... what is wrong with an X5 for the wife's suv? Why buy a cayenne or an X5M for the SUV duty? For a driver that gets no thrill from a car? Frankly her horses make my cars seem very affordable. And they die, get lame, etc...whereas cars can be fixed...but I digress:dunno:

Silly poll- yes, I know there was a disclaimer... but you cannot even interpret the results, IMO income does not drive car choice as a primary factor.
