My vote for the 215's
|
The 128's are familiar to the 87's we all love so much on the E53's... Damn I need to put mine back on!!!!!!
|
Love the 215s over all of them but 214s are very nice, understated, and only 20s so it's a good all around choice.
BTW I put 20s on the 35d and loving it. Went with normal tires. Upgraded from stock 18s on RFTs. Love the steering and handling even more now. The ride is not rough at all, almost the same. No sport and no self-leveling. |

Congrats onthe new ride. I like the 128's as well as the original sport package Y-spokes (not sure of the #)

I'm definitely wanting the 128's now.
Any idea what a staggered set of 20s will run me? |

Congrats on the new ride. The 128s are 21" wheels and be very pricey unless found used. Also, tires in that size are $$... As for 20" wheels, style 214s or X6Ms look awesome (no biased at all having both as winter wheels) If you want reps to save some $$ check out Ray at Wheel Tech Tuning, he took good care of me and has many options for X5s. You can get a custom quote for combo packages wheels/tires/tpms just by emailing him. $1695 for 214s, wheels and tires + $225 shipping... 20" BMW X5 3.0, 4.4, 4.8 X6 STAGGERED WHEELS AND TIRES - eBay (item 330598649504 end time Aug-17-11 17:02:27 PDT) X |
Thanks, Ray.
I'm still not 100% sold on the 214's. Nothing is hittin' me like the 87's did on the E53. :( |
