JB diesel performance tuner????
Opinions please....
|
I was considering the RocketChip for mine. I know the engineers at RC come highly recommended in the VW crowd. I don't know anything about JB diesel.
|
+1. I am very interested in this, as well ad any other tuning options.
Fwiw, I contacted Dinan the other day, they said that they are developing software for the 35d, but do not have a timeframe. Andy |
Yeah, I heard that through the rumor mill as well. The only issues that I see with Dinan stuff is the larger than life price tag for a less performance oriented part than aftermarket. The only saving grace is the the warranty if you meet all their stipulations.

Jayjay, please keep me posted on how it works out. I am going to speak with Terry at JB tmrw and see what the deal is with these things. Looks almost too good. But we will see...

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...bd-review.html I've got 24k miles on my X5, almost all of them with the JBD. There are other options, but besides making a great product Terry and team are peerless when it comes to customer service. -Rob P.S. - I recommend buying a BavTech cable along with the JBD. Cheap insurance. And if you like to work on cars you can bleed BMW ABS braking systems without a trip to the dealer or a panic stop ;) |
JB is the way to go. Widely used on E90 (3-series) platform. Amazing power gain and customer service.

Very happy with mine so far! Just wish someone would work out the electronic throttle delay. That is incredibly annoying..
