Interesting. Maybe it's just the new TPMS that are not backward compatible?

I did have to purchase TPMS for all for tires because they were not compatable

Ha, so you're confirming what X-cellent and I said earlier. I thought you were disagreeing with us...

Thanks Guys for all of the info. I Appreciate it.

The sensor's that are in the wheels now are from Discount Tire and they worked Great. I believe that they are made by Beru.

They easily synched up with the X-Drive and I didn't have one problem with them.

Is there a way to check the model or type of sensors without having the truck or breaking down the wheels?

Who makes BMW's sensor's? I'm pretty sure that they're not made by BMW, but I could be wrong.

No..... I was letting you know that I had 2007 rims on a 2011 and 2012. The rims FIT with no problems. Sorry for not mentioning that you needed to replace the TPMS

Thanks Guys!

I wonder if the Discount tire ones are different than the OEM ones, in that they might be universal.

The receipt says that they are "Beru 48mm green sensors that operate at 433.9 mhz".

Does anyone know the frequency that the LCI ones operate at?
