Pretty sure the 5-10mpg improvement and ability to use biodiesel will outweigh any emissions increase... Reminds me of my e30 M3 friends in California who have to remove their cleaner burning coil-over-plug with electronic ignition control mods, to go back to the stock distributer to pass the new CARB visual inspection. Ridiculous.

With liberals, common sense isn't very common. Many of them still believe in the man-caused global warming fiasco. Didn't their hero al gore predict that the ice caps would be gone by now? When I get home on leave soon, I'm going to run my 72 Ford F-600 with no emissions controls as much as I can just to piss off liberals.

With rednecks, political blinders and/or religious beliefs often trump the scientific process. Fortunately, Darwin had it right and it will be resolved with natural selection.

I did this mod, with a remap of the software and I must say, the performance improvement is amazing, this car now has BIG BIG muscles.
I live in South Africa by the way, we are not that strict about emission control, besides our cops are too dumb to know what emission control is, in the first place.
