General Question: Who has over 100k on their X5?

IF so please list your current Odometer miles and any major issues AFTER 100k...

I'm trying to figure out if I should order a 2013 or keep my 2007 until further notice...

113.9k miles currently:

Transfer case: $3500
Spark plugs: couple hundred

That's it. Transfer case was a freak occurrence, not common. Other than that, expect control arm bushings, struts, etc.

Nothing beats an X5 in great condition with no car note. I'm at 92K
not quite the 100K you were asking about but the 05 is still rolling.
But if you're hankering for some additional bells and whistles and
don't mind blowing some cash then go for it.;)

Keep in mind the differences between the E53 and E70... How has your car been with the computers and all of those systems? I had the first and last E90 and I know how I feel about that but it's a really individually variable thing.

My mom's '06 X5 has 106K on it, and is running smoothly with preventative maintenance, though she needs new brakes after taking it to Safety School

Yikes that is crazy! I just did the control arm bushings at 98k

All the electronics (knock on wood) have been fine. I've never had to replace any of them. I have the comfort seats and 1 motor went out but that was about it...

once a BMW reaches 100k you need to pay attention to all the plastic cooling parts (radiator included). replace them for maximum reliability.

2002 X5 4.4i Sport has 154K on it and going strong. Outside of the front cv axles, window regulators, guibo, alternator and steering ujoint the SUV has been a champ. Oil every 6K synthetic BMW OIL.

I purchased a new E70 X5 a while back but used this one to drive back and forth on trips. Had tow package and was reliable. Never skipped a beat.

The E70 had more issue initially than my E53 did in its entire 154K miles.

Will be posting on this board my 2002 X5 for sale soon. Less trips than before so time for good home. My E70 needs to feel loved more. Lol

110K, (2008 4.8) and so far only a leaking lower radiator hose / fan switch and a cracked expansion tank for the radiator since 100K miles.

BTW, mine has a metal radiator.
