TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKS
 
I have my '08 3.0Si at the dealer for a ATF leak repairs and it costs me $854.33. Here is the break down of the job:
1 24-34-7-588-725 Sealing,Sleeve $ 22.75
1 24-11-7-571-235 Gasket, oil pan $ 51.50
1 24-11-7-520-714 O-Ring $ 7.13
40 83-22-0-305-675 ATF $128.80
Shop supplies $ 24.95
Slave labor $619.20
Any comments?

That does not look like a bad price for the work to me.

dealer's rate is a lot more than an indy shop... something like $130/hr vs. $80-$90. Big jobs can mean a big difference. Sometimes the benefit is you get a loaner from the dealer. I would only go back to the dealer if it were an uncommon issue. Dealers are also more inclined to try and rip off your warranty company. The latter can tell you all about that.
