i understand, i meant what did you say to the SA/Dealer to get it updated for free?

I just asked him to update it. He did free of charge.
I guess it helps that he has been my SA for 7 years.
But other people have also received free updates as mentioned on the
Bimmerfest forums

I actually had some good feedback from JMK when I used to use them back in 2007.. I'm pretty sure they would do it for you free of charge.
