No, the light is only on when you engage HDC....

No clue other than you still have an issue....does dash light turn on if you press HDC button? Were you ever able to try idling down a ramp in a parking garage to see if HDC engages????

My concern would be that while you may never need HDC, what other systems are compromised that you may be unaware of (ABS comes to mind as it's used in HDC) or what ancillary damage is/has occurred and what was the root cause of this all?

When you press it it turns on the dash "HDC", ill try going downhill someday.
