I am sure if there was anything to break, it did, and was fixed the right way. Also, those cars were not driven at race pace or in some crazy terrains, so if the price is right I'll jump in too.

Dealer standards are the same as BMW standards. This one was likely not maintained to BMW standards, or else it would have a warranty the same as any demo resold after e demo period.

We can argue here, but my point is:BMW will not fix a car with hay wire and used parts to make it run somehow and sell it to someone without warranty. If there are major problems they are aware of they will sell it to crash test or whatever, that will be million dollars cheaper for them than get sued over a future problem with the car, regardless of all the wavers the prospective buyer will sign-off.They dont really need the money from that particular sale.I am curious what the price might be.

I guess I took the OP's comment that the vehicle was being sold as is, with no warranty, literally. If you believe it will have a hidden warranty then you should buy it.

Where can one buy vehicles like this?? From Who?

I'm interested ... warranty or not. I'll give the car a PPI using my own personal knowledge and standards for purchase. When I buy, I have no one to blame but myself ...

Now,this came out of nowhere :dunno:
As a matter of fact I own '12 X5D without warranty and it is not that terrifying experience. For the price difference between new,or CPO,I should be able to keep it up and running for the years to come.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts!
I should have clarified in my original post, the MY is 2009, so the standard warranty has expired based on time. It has about 40k miles and $20k in options at list price (Active Drive, HUD, nappa everywhere, etc).
After reviewing the accident report (last Oct) from the Cincinnati Police (thank you CarFax for the case number) I've decided to pass on the vehicle. Too many unknowns for me.
Infinity of Cincinnati has the vehicle. I haven't seen it in person.

Does it have a branded title? Or did your warranty already expire due to the mileage?

It is salvage,mileage is at 30 k now.For 5 months and 5 k miles not even a glitch.
