I think it went even into 2012. Even though my car was built 1/2012 it was not affected.

since it is a recall doesn't matter what dealer says as BMWNA should cover for everything. But like you always say: if it is not in writing it is no good!

update:
still no parts for the recall, they say they are not allowed to give me the car back until they perform it!
and yes you were right, they have been lying since the start!

Send a note to BMWNA, certified, and tell them "pursuant to state law, I will proceed with a lemon law return at xx days. The car has been our of service for yy days, and is currently at your dealer with no estimated completion date."

They'll have the parts in 2 days.
