I don't think so. I have a feeling that the EGR bracket recall came out in 2013 right afer my last service. I have a couple of cars so the mileage on my '12 is around 17k so it's been over a year since I've brought my X in for service. So this recall is probably new to me, but has been out for over a year.
That being said, I haven't had any issues at all that required service other than annual oil changes and top off the DEF.

The recall has been around, although I do note that the term "NEW" appears at both the production start and stop date for the affected models. I wonder if the coverage of the recall has simply expanded. My car hasnt been to a dealer in over a year as well, no "651" punched. I'll bring it in later this month. |
