Genuine, at last recall I thought they were looking into M50d for US but that is a shit go!

Well this would be one of those RARE instances that Australia got a better vehicle selection than the US.... if only we we're paying the same prices. :rofl:

I shouldn't complain... they pay a lot more in Asia!

Agreed! I'm so jealous of US prices... For the price I paid for my X I could have gotten literally any BMW in the US... M5, M6 X5/6 M... You guys are lucky! For those prices, I could compensate not getting some of the diesel engines... Although I do love my 40D :nanana:

But Asia have it bad... Up to 200%+ tax on imported luxury cars... I'm not complaining :D

Today's news from Benny @ bimmertoday.de
F30 335d will be introduced in summer 2013 with 300+ hp twin turbo diesel. The 335d will be offered with xDrive. The twin turbo diesel will go from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.5 sec.

The same engine is supposed to be offered in 5-series, 7-series and you know what...

Any idea when the next X5M will follow? Last time it followed about a year and a half behind the regular model.

IIRC Le-Mans' posts, 2015 the new X5M will come.

The February issue of Autobild has some pics of the new F15 X5. I scanned as shown below.
Engine options are as below per Autobild.
30d - 258 PS/560 Nm
40d - 313 PS/630 Nm
35i - 306 ps/400 Nm
50i - 450 PS/650 Nm
M50d comes in early 2014 followed by X5 M.
