What is up with flat paint on cars these days? I was up in the Bay Area this weekend and saw a Nissan GTR crossing the Bay Bridge painted flat black primer. I don't think the car was getting prepped for new coat of paint as there were decals and trim applied over the primer paint. I can understand primer paint on a '55 Ford pickup rat rod, but not on a brand new car.
It looked hideous to say the least.

I saw that matte black GTR ....... in fact I've seen it SEVERAL times!! I think it looks absolutely SIIIIIIICK. My cousin loved it. My gf loved it. My 73-year old father even loved it. I think it looks absolutely amazing. |
