Anyone going to be there? (besides me?) I'll be in town 1-5 Oct - Seeing the air show at Midland 29-30 Sept & the Commemorative(nee Confederate) Air Force - Grand Canyon 24-26 Sept - Brooks & Dunn 21 Sept Las Vegas - Ain't retirement GREAT!:nanana:

I'll be there...mainly for the Club Race weekend.

Never been to one. So anything anyone can tell me about it, what to do, what not to miss, even about Fort Worth would be of great assistance. Maybe a mini-meet of X5 drivers? Thanks!

We were gonna go considering it's right over the state line. Hoped to hit the DE and Rally and who knows what else. Not so much now since we just got the house.

I take it, this is not much of an Oktoberfest crowd - Well, I'll be there if only to find out what it's all about - It's on the way home to SC - I just hope the hurricanes stay away

Our shop will be there with our racecars for the Club Class Races. I'm thinking about trailering my M3 Coupe with our X5! Not sure what dates we are thinking about being there though...

What is the weekly schedule look like in terms of events?

Check the post at BMWCCA for schedule - having never gone, I can't say - looking forward to the experience - just hope it's not too hot or flooded(ala hurricane residue)

Well, checked out the site last night & made hotel arrangements for Wed-Sat. Will be driving out from CA on Monday & arrive on Wed. Unfortunately can only do about 8 hrs a day driving because of my g/fs back pains & towing the coupe.

Excited & can't wait to get there though!

Well, it's tomorrow(Oktoberfest) - still have today in Midland and alot more pictures to take at the airshow:thumbup: - got to spend more time at the Grand Canyon next time - lucked out with high 70's and gorgeous days - Brooks & Dunn were great - have to find a good detailer in Ft Worth or carwash so I can get all the bugs off (& all this west texas dust) - managed to get the laundry done Fri, a mandatory thing on a trip of 2-3 weeks (a reference to no longer being in college does not apply, having gone to a military college) - will try to post some pics when I get settled in Ft Worth (Adobe Photoshop is on my desktop, not the laptop, but I'll give it a try) - staying at the Holiday Inn I-20 ext 431 which seems to be midway between downtown & the motorsport track - If you're there, I'm the big guy in the Hawaiian shirt:D
