What about me, Juan? Can I ride with you all?

Juan

That will be very cool! Let's plan on it.

(Hey Eric, if you join the caravan you will likely secure the farthest-distance trophy for the DC trip. )

Good Idea, JK...
We will take you up on it!

Long way off, but my guess is that we will motor SE to you on Friday afternoon for a Sat am group roll north to DofC.

That was a foregone conclusion, brother!

Drive up to the "Valencia-Ciardi Compound" on Friday night. We have plenty of room for you and David & CEO. Heck, Alain, you can come down on Friday night as well! Rob, this invite is extended to you also!

Maybe we'll all go out to dinner Friday night with Kevin (ncx) who lives 20 minutes from me, and then drive up to JV's Saturday morning. :)

FYI...travel time from Juan's place to DC is about 6 hours. That's accounting for Juan's frenetic pace and traffic, which you will hit when you get within 40 miles of your nation's capital. It won't be stop and go very much, but at times it will be slow.

You guys might wanna meet up someplace north of Juan's if Friday night plans don't materialize, Greensboro or Durham or something. It'll be a full day of festivities, and just because I was late to Juan's in October doesn't excuse anyone:)

BTW...anyone interested in doing a group dinner outing the night of 5/13, here's my idea:

Just so long as everyone knows, it's more than just seafood, and it's one of the few places in downtown DC with ample cheap parking and plenty of space to accomodate large groups.

95 southbound here I come.

Please do! Let me know if you need any assistance with a place to stay if you plan on staying overnight. I can make it to Staten Island in under 4 hours from here easy, should be a breeze for you.

Yeah, we'll certainly have to work something out... Either way, my place can be a "half-way" rest stop for folks like Rob and Drex who will be driving from the GA and FL.

WE COULD gather at my place Thursday night, and take off for DC on Friday... we'll work it out... :)

As long as the boys in blue continue to salute as I fly by, I'll be fine. I will be staying overnight. I'd like to see where the others are staying before I book anything. Should be alot of fun. Michelle - you out there? I hope I'm not the only girl coming.

I know Michelle will be there! Plus you'll have plenty of wives (CEO's as md says) and SO's there, so it won't be a complete sausage fest. I have a special gift for each lady who attends, too. And it ain't pink fuzzy dice either.

Looking forward to seeing everybudday in May.
