What is wrong with these pictures?

I was at the dealer today when this dude rolled in. I had to get some pics. It won't take you sharp eyed guys and gals long before you see what's wrong.

I saw the side badge and the orange indicator lenses all around and the lack of spoilers, not to mention the naked single exhausts and thought, hmmm, something is amiss.

Why do people bother with this kind of deception? The only person they're fooling is themself.

it's like vette coupe owners who put Z06 badges on the front fenders and glue fake brake cooling inlets ducts in front of the rear wheels....

It's definately not unique to X5s; if anything I see very few if any X5s "faked" up like that. There's the M3-wannabe 330ci (right, no hood bulge or side gills, who you foolin?), the M5-wannabe 5-series (mostly e39......haven't seen a fake e60 M5 yet). And I'm sure we're too familar with the not-really type R Honda civics
