ILLEGAL RACE

I WAS DRIVING MY V8 X5 THIS MORNING TO THE CITY WHEN A HUMMER H2 PASSED ME.I WAS SURPRISED WHEN THE H2 DRIVER SLOWED DOWN AND DID SIGNALS TO ME WITH HIS HAND.I RELIAZED THAT HE WANTED TO RACE ME....SO I PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL BRUTALY AND MY X5 DIDNT BETRAY ME...I WAS THE LEADER ALL ALONG THE FREEWAY......

I THINK THAT THE H2 LOST BECAUSE OF IT WEIGHT

Yep a good impromptu street race can sure make you feel good about the X5! I had one the other day with a chevy avalanche with loud exhaust, louder bass in the stereo and big stupid wheels... the guy didn't stand a chance!

We own an H2 in the household, surprisingly with all that weight, its about an 8 second car (its got about 400 HP). It can keep up with the 3.0, but definately not another V8.

I remember when I was younger, and thought impromptu street racing was cool. Now I realize it is dangerous, and I could never live with myself if I caused the death of an innocent person. We had an incident here in my town a couple years ago, where two guys were racing, and another car was struck. Two teenaged girls (not involved in the race) were killed.

I'm sure you mean in 0-60... because there's NO WAY you mean 1/4 mile!
