Where is the inlet for the recircultaing air inside the car.

I know where the exterior air inlet is. I have a stink in my system and the disinfectant says to spay it into the recirculating intake vent. I could only find vents blowing out not sucking in.

The filter is located under the hood along the base of the windshield. The box containing the filter is secured with quick release fasteners.
