Adjusting Xenon lowbeams (already posted in existing thread no response)

I have been driving at night lately & been getting flashed (brights) as my lowbeams are too high. The passenger side is 1/2" higher than the seemingly high driver side.

The lights move up & down automatically when I start the car so I assume there must be a computer involved. I have INPA, GT1, DIS etc how do I lower the low beams by about 1/2- 1"?

I just had both of mine out to replace the bulbs and ignitors, and I don't recall any real adjustment for them in any dimension (Xenon). Only a little bit of movement where they bolt in to the bracket, but that appears to be for fit and not adjustment. Has the vehicle had front end body work that might have distorted the mount?

No damage, seems to me there is an electronic adjustment seeing as they move internally. They go from low to high & even out in the middle when I start the X.

Has to be an adjustment in the system somewhere.

The facelift housings have hex screw adjustments (there are 2 of them and are white in color) on the top of the housing. I'm not overly familiar with the prefacelift housings but would imagine they would have something similar....it should be on the exterior of the housing. No need to go inside.

I've asked RB to weigh in on this thread as I'm confident he'll be able to direct you better!

White hexes on the top as X5SND said, the one towards the outside of the car I believe is the up/down. They are plastic so don't use a screwdriver, use an Allen wrench in them.

It will take a few turns to get that side down as the adjustments are small. Manually adjust your high side to match the other and you are good to go

Actually don't quote me on that as I haven't done in a while, the one towards the inside of the car now that I think about it might be the up/down adjuster

Thanks guys, I mean that auto adjuster is the electrical device that is out of spec, not his moving around issue. I don't have that.
