Small scratch on wood trim

I have a small scratch on the wood trim near shift knob (actually in the clear finish).

Any recomendations as to how to reduce/eliminate?

Thank you in advance.

Plastic polish might be worth a try...

I bought my 2002 X5 used and when I got it home, it had a rather substantial scratch/scuff in the plastic window in front of the speedometer. It worked great for that, and might be worth a shot if you're desperate and the scratch is only on the wood's plastic coating. Let us know if it works!

What is scaring me is I donít want to make the area around the scratch more pronounced. I just want to attach the scratch.

The scratch is slight and about an inch long.
