Window Tint Removal

So i got caught by the MAN! I had to remove my 15% tint on the front and install a front plate. My X looks like a completely different auto. It looks like it wants to go to soccer practice instead of racing to the game.

So i used a cheap little steamer. It was very easy to remove the tints, much easier than i had anticipated. I started top center. used a razor blade to start then when there was enough there to grab with my fingers i did. from there on out it was steam and pulling. There was a couple spots that glue stayed on the windows, but was easily removed with the razor blade and the power of STEAM! One tip would be to repetidly hit the edges with the steamer even before you get near them. This will soften up the glue and make for a better chance of it all comming off with the tint on that last pull to get it out from behind the molding.

if you have tints and get pulled over, my suggestion would be to roll down the windows, maybe that may help or bring attention to them. i think it will help. and maybe the front plate in the dash can help to, so have that ready. i did, but the officer already had his pen ready.
