okay, I have to admit I've done MUCH better work on my plastic models than touching up rock chips. First, the topazblau paint from BMW did not match the car paint. it was darker. A galloping horse MAY not notice it, but my touchup will never be allowed within 100 miles of a concours. forget pics, I do enough stupid, dumb things without posting them to some website.
Thinking I may redeem myself by finally polishing 8+yrs of oxidation on the side pillars, I industriously expend 20 minutes of elbow grease. I start to notice a shiney clear black spot. As I look at what I've accomplished vs what still needs to be done, I'm thinking power tool..., preferably something needing 220v. I keep reminding people that I am lazy. (plus this eyedrop medicine has me gasping for energy) If it's a choice between paying someone else, doing it myself, or getting Barbara Eden (or Nicole Kidman) to 'blink' it for me, I'm looking up Barbara's phone number. Oh well, I suppose I can keep working on it. I just hope I live long enough to see it done.
