Like the standard Engine Oil Drain Valve, this spring assisted ball valve replace standard oil drain plug making oil changes easier and saving valuable time. Also ideal for oil sampling analysis as a small amount of oil can be drawn without shutting off the engine. The N-Type Engine Oil Drain Valve takes the mess out of routine maintenance on industrial engines. Also N-Type Valves are available for passenger cars, trucks and vans.
Thanks. I didn't see this in there. This is something I'm going to get for my Prelude.

Let's go ahead a start a list of those who are interested. I will set up a paypal account to collect money when 10 people have signed up. I will extend the deadline beyond Feb 28th if needed. I know the 3.0 engines require the adaptor for the recessed drain hole in the pan. Nipple would be useful (but not necessary) for X5 due to the panel over the drain plug. X3 has no cover but if you want to put on some tubing to drain oil into a container with less spash, that's what it's for. Shipping should be about $2.50 to $3.00 in the U.S.A. Paste your name onto the list.

Name Vehicle/Engine Nipple Y/N Adaptor Y/N

JWBekens - I noticed you have a X3.

NOTE - this will NOT fit on a 2003 X5 4.4 and after having fitment issues , it looks like I won't recommend fitment on the valvetronic engines.

On my X5, there are 2 small thin metal tubes that get in the way and it does not Allow enough cleareance to thread the Fumoto valve on. I just tried today....

On TQ2K pics, based on the drain location which would put the Fumoto valve vertical with the body of the car, I would not recommend putting one on also. The pics may be deceptive and it may be deeper than it appears, but from what I see, I would not add the Fumoto valve if it protrudes as much as I'm thinking.

If the deadline passing isn't an issue, count me in:
2. Ismail (Mindfull), '02 X5 3.0i, Nip Y, Adapter Y.

If this goes ahead, pls send a PM or post to thread. If it helps, I'm paypal-confirmed.
