Quick question for you guys with Active Steering:- Can dealers only perform alignment on vehicles with active steering or can Indy's do too? I was quoted $250 ($100 bucks more than regular alignment) at the dealership. My indy shop has Hunter system for balancing and is Tirerack recommended. I haven't asked them about "Active Steering" alignment because i fear they may say "Yes" just to earn business. Whats so special about active steering that a good local shop may not be able to perform? Thoughts?

Not sure about active steering to be honest, however does your shop use the KDS II system?

Nope, they said they have RA 11 system. Not sure what that is. However, they said they could do active steering. Thoughts?

My understanding is that it isn't the same system that BMW uses. Find a place with the BMW system.

if I could get some more info on when I would be able to get a set of the 20" flavor. wifey's 4.8i.s. is in bad need of a set soon. I saw where this group buy was running up this weekend I believe, so hopefully I can get in on it. Definitely interested and if I can get them soon, count me in for sure.
