Massive Update.
If you have an X3 (2.5L or 3.0L) you can get the intake.
If you have an X5 (3.0L, 4.4L, 4.5L, 4.8L) you can get the intake.
If you have an X5 (4.6L) I'll have to keep looking for verification but I'm 99.999% sure it'll fit, and so are other members.

X. Name (X5 Modelnumber (3.0,4.4,4.6,4.8))
1. ricky.agrawal (X5 4.4)
2. Z3RO (X5 3.0)
3. Tijanaw (X5 4.4)
4. wuzin (X5 4.4)
5. Roc3b (01 X5 4.4)

Ok, new guy here...I'm in, please add me to the list

Hendo (02 X5 3.0)

...but I'll post another note to ask for suggestions on additional upgrades for the new (pre-owned) X5 owner....

I'm already in the market for MK4 and Bluetooth upgrades for my 2002 X5 3.0 SP nav, dsp, changer....

Cold Air Intake question

Hi all,
I want to do this mod too but still hesitating. I have a 3.0 X5 and I have some questions regarding this mod. It'll be great if you guys can help me to clear them up.

1. Will this mod cause any harms to the engine in anyway?
2. I read some articles (maybe on this forum) saying that a software and exhaust upgrade are also need with this Cold Air Intake mod. Is it true?

If this mod will not do any harms to the engine, I am in too. Oh by the way, I think BavAuto is having a 10% off on a lot of Cold Air Intake. They look like they are the Magnum ones too. This is the link

http://www.bavauto.com/se1.asp?dept_id=206

Thanks much for the info., guys!

Justin.
