Cold Air Intake

Anyone installed yet? How do you like them? What brand and link please...

I have an aFe intake that got off of ebay (http://www.afefilters.com/IntakeSytemstest.asp#BMW). I like the way it looks and performs. As I stated before, not sure if there are any hard numbers that the HP or torque went up but the butt dyno says better and smoother acceleration. TRUCK (had to Juan :D ) computer says better gas mileage.

I've had my AFE intake for about 7 months now and I can definitely say that there's an improvement in fuel economy. I can't say that there's any noticeable performance gain but it certainly sounds nice. Accerleration off the line is noticebly smoother as Ekaz mentioned. Good mod for the money.

I hate to be a prick, but you should never pay MSRP (or try as hard as you can) for car parts.

Evosport has the AFE intakes for a great price. You guys want to try to get a group buy going? I'll take care of all the contacting Evosport stuff.

X5 3.0 = 249$
X5 4.4 = 349$

I'll try to get as low of a price as I can.

Just add yourself on the list if you possibly want the intake.

Not being a prick, I wouldn't and didn't pay MSRP for the intake. I posted it for informational purposes only. I got mine for well below MSRP with 2-day shipping so I had it installed for trip to Juan's for the meet. I know a local evosport distributor so I can check on prices as well if you want.

all i'm looking for is the sound and also the low end torque..with intakes from my previous cars it seemed like adding an intake always screwed up the low end torque power but helped high end torque, low end torque is what i need and prefer...if this thing does it then i'll take one!

also...anyone have a sound clip of this intake on their X?
