Anyone running the SprintBooster in their X5?
I'm thinking about ordering another SprintBooster (I have one in my E60) for the X5. Just wondering if anyone on here has it installed on their X5 and how they like it.
If nobody has it, maybe I'll have to be the first.

This has been discussed on countless threads on E60.net with pretty much all members in support of the product. I think I'll get it for the X5 too.

I think I need the opposite of this product as my pedal is too light.

yes that would be nice actually.. My problem is keeping the car at speeds between 35-50 mph. I have to actually keep my foot elevated and can't rest it, which is annoying.

Well no, it won't go to the floor. If I rest my foot on the petal I will gradually be doing over 100 MPH. It's only too light between 0-60 which I believe is the way the 4.6 is set up. I wouldn't mind more throttle response between 80-100 for overtaking.
I drove two other 4.6's before buying and I believe it was the same. It could also be attributed to my huge feet and heavy shoes

That is bizzare. Sounds like a flaw to me, but maybe I'm missing something?

No I don't think it's a flaw. I'm just being a baby. Although I do have a friend whom describes the same problem with his S4, having to keep the foot elevated at normal driving speeds.
If I think about it, it was equally hard for me to keep the e39 M5 at normal driving speeds. It's probably just similar tuning. |
