I thought you were in school, how do you rack up 150 miles in a week?

When you don't live in Manhattan, its quite easy to do. Between loser laps, sober driving shifts and weekend road trips, the miles add up. I'll admit, I cut down on the 25K a year, down to about 17K, but still... 150!? poor car!

Like my f'book album title. Absolut $25.99, 10 gallons of Shell V-Power $17.90. Fuck drinking, I'll take the gas. Road trip time.

When you live in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, everything is an hour away.

When I go home (every other weekend or so), that is 240mi for the roundtrip alone. Richmond is approx 120-150mi roundtrip. There are no other places worth going in the state.

The point is for the officer not to see the unit. When I had my friend's V1 for 5 days, I did not mount it in centre. I would likely put it relatively low and on the driver's side, about 5-10cm above the VIN number. And remember folks, I'm technically not a VA resident.

I use a V1 in the city and Highway. Set it to advanced Logic and there aren't any falses.(there are 3 settings, no filter, med logic and Advanced Logic. It is so advanced, it will pick up cheap detectors, warn you with a different signal and throw a J in the display, signalling junk detector.

Integrating the V1 with the Stealth One module is impressive. No lights on the detector, just a black phone cable. Warnings come up in the OBC display and muted with volume control on steering wheel. I put mine to the right and above the RVMirror. Virtually unnoticeable from outside the car if not using the suction cups.

IMHO, as far as laser protection goes, good luck. Any detector is counting on the fringe beams. The officers are trained to aim at the front license plate and only turn it on when targeted. It is, and will be a crap shoot. The v1 one provides both a front and rear Laser eye BTW.

Which setting is advanced logic? Thank you

No, doesn't work like that. You go to the V1 site; put in your serial # on the upgrade page; and (1) it'll tell you if you have the latest version, (2) it'll tell you can you get a free upgrade or (3) it'll tell you how much an upgrade will cost.
