Hi Guys,

I spent all day today trying to locate the source of this annoying squeal, here is what I have come up with. I believe the source of the squeak has something to do with the upper rear control arm. I tried my hardest to narrow it down further and I think it could even be coming from the ball joint that ties the rear control arm to the wheel bearing carrier. I noticed that my ball joint looks pretty worn. The problem is I'm not 100% sure but I am very confident it is in this area as I could feel the vibrations coming from this control arm as I slowly jacked the car up. I also lubricated all of the areas that have contact with the arm and I was able to make the speak harder to produce meaning I reallllllly had to go over a substantial bump before I could hear it.

Does anyone else have any info on this? I'm thinking of replacing that arm and the ball joint and all associated hardware. But it would be great to nail this thing down before I order the parts.
