I have a 2002 X5 3.0 and for the last two weeks I have had a squicking sound from the right rear suspension. This started only when going over speedbumps but is now getting worse the last few days. If the car stands still and I try to "shake it only a bit" the same noise appears!!!! What could it be?

Got te same problem, for the past 6 months, no one can tell me what it is after visiting BMW repair center and local mechanics. One actually made me change the rear upper control arm. $500 later, I still got he same freaking sound

I had the same problem, what they did for me at the dealer was inject some grease into my ball joints? I hope that makes sense? But whatever it is it stopped right away. I also sprayed some Lube all over the control arms all things that move up and down and side ways... LOL. I haven't had a problem since. I hope this made some sense to someone. GL
