side wall? Maybe the tire(s) are defective? My neighbor just got a new 530 and the brand new oems were "square", diagnosed after 3 stlr trips. If the suckers are mounted and balanced properly, it may be the tire(s). I don't think an alignment is going to solve it, but GL. mD |

how many miles do you have on the Toyos? Mine started to get really loud around 25k miles although they looked like they had plenty of wear left. However after a closer inspection, uneven tire wear on the inside seemed to be the main cause.

Definitely get your alignment checked. I complained about my first set of Toyos being loud and it ended up that my alignment was off and ate through the rear tires within 21K miles. The fronts were cupping on the edges. My shop moved the fronts to the rear (I still have crappy 17" wheels) and put the new ones up front, aligned it, and the noise is gone.

Toyos are loud and only get louder as time passes not to mention that they are a shit tire to begin with.
The Michelins are discontinued and the replacement model look terrible. Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's that's the way to go..... |

Just mounted a set of staggered toyo proxes ST's on 20 inch replica rims. I have no complaints and have been quite happy with them.

Now I know why it's loud -- I just noticed that on mine cruisin when I dropped all the windows last night. I'll keep them until I need to replace them. Just crank the stereo high with windows up.

You cant have everything in a tire.
The toyos are dirt cheap, handle wheel, and look sick.
