Question question on oem style 87

does any 1 nows how i could tell if the 87's rims? i find a set in my area but when i look @ them it looks alittle funny. on the in side on the rims i c it says made in Italy & on the out side ot the rims i notice the the BMW stamped with the part # & the size of the rim with the psi# & when i went to Real Oem and punch in the part# it showed the rims wow! can anyone help

If the stampings say "BMW" (and not BWM) and have a BMW part number stamped into them then it's a good bet that they are OEM rims. As far as I recall, the OEM rims do not say "Made in Italy"

thanks for answering my post. but it look like it said BMW & not BWM i got to look @ that again. and that made in Italy i dont know any 1 else care to share intel on dis matter?

I need help on this too..I sold some style 87 rims that as far as I knew were OEM...
They guy said it does say "Italy"..but has a BMW stamp...please help asap!

Fwiw, my oe style 69s, were made in Italy...
I seem to recall several styles of oe wheels
were made there, as are some made in Mexico.

They sound legit, from afar...

the 87s do say made in italy. and x5 wheels are made in germany and mexico as well.
