Diamaris to Latitude Tour HP

Yeah, we dont exactly have typical seasons in AZ. However, I am an avid snowboarder and take the X to snowy places in the winters. So it seams like I shouldn't be driving in the snow with the diamaris' according to everyones comments. I have another X5 which has the 18 inch MXV4 Michelins maybe ill just throw those on my 4.4 or just take that X5 when i go in snow.

What are peoples experiences with driving the diamaris' in snow? Just curious?

Three words. DON'T DO IT. There's a thread here somewhere that was started by a guy asking if we thought it was OK for him to go up to the mountains skiing with them. We all said no. He did it anyway. Didn't turn out too good. I'll see if I can find it.

WOW... Thanks cmyX5go, Well that totally cleared up any questions of using the diamaris setup in snow. I think when winter comes and I go to the mtns I'll either use the 18's with MXV4 on my other X5 (which I have driven in snow many times and they hook up well) or get another set of 17's or 18's off craigslist.

The one thing I am sure of is i wont be taking it in the snow with the diamaris setup. I love my X and myself way to much to cheap out and tempt driving it in snow with those tires. Thanks again for the GREAT info.
