Well, I had to change the cluster which was pretty cheap to acquire, and they are pretty plentiful..I think I paid about 70 quid for it. Unforunately, I guess its programmed within itself so you will have a different mileage on the clock. But it will still be documented on the MOT cert and Log Book. I only was concerned because I sell them, and I hate having to explain that to the buyer.

Take it to a dealer to be reprogramed... no excuse not to.

Also, when you say the cluster went out, you mean the odo, trip, oil/insp light area or the whole thing just stopped working?

Thought about it, until I found out how much they wanted...Cant put that as an "extra" charge on MY price, so no dice..Fortunately, it has only happened twice in like 3 years so I dont expect to have to deal with it again...

BTW, it was the whole thing....I would drive and the all the lights, everything would die...
