The 120 is so much better more quiet and so much better on the road.

This is true. I saw 2 in Cabo, and one X3 too.

Think though how much money that 1 series must have cost. I'd bet that buying a 1 series in Mexico would most likely cost as much, if not more than a base 325i sold here in the U.S...
