How much power can one driver harness? That all depends. For the 528i sedan, we’ve developed a 230 horsepower inline six cylinder engine, an improvement of 15 horsepower over last year’s model. More impressively, our 535i sedan’s inline 6 with twin turbo has been boosted to 300-horsepower, an upgrade of 75 horsepower.

Doesn't the 2006 530i have 255 hp? that's not an increase of 75 hp. unless they're talking about the 2004-2005. But they compare the 528i to the 2006 525i.

I would think that blinding the driver behind you with your tail lights would make it more likely for him to hit you than if you had normal tail lights that would allow him to retain most of his vision...

On the one hand, you have one blinded person (which I've never heard of one) with may be an accident, but at least it would have startled him so that he braked. The accident would likely be a minor one. On the other hand, if you didn't see it coming, what do you think would happenned? hard. Take your pick.

Option 2 is the less likely scenario, by far. I don't think anyone ever complained about not being able to see non-led brake lights - they are certainly more than adequate.

Have you ever driven in the fog? Also, if you're blinded by the leds, then you're driving too close.
