It ain't cheap, my friend. Total mods come to $22,000 according to Roundel, which added to the 335i's base price would put it at or over the M3 MSRP price. That would make it a hard sell over an M3. A good chunk of that is brakes $7,500 and wheels and tires $5,000. You can always pick and choose what mods you want if you are happy with the car in another area. The S2 is the ultimate example of Dinan's slogan "performance without sacrafice". Especially when it comes to cost. Even though it is not an M car at the end of the day it is still a beast though and an expensive one at that.

I've hit 135 on my 330. I'm not surprised the 335 can hit 150. It's a great engine.

I have an SSTT tuner on my 335 and the claim is about 40hp and 50 lb-ft. I paid $525 for it and it just plugs in to the TMAP wiring - takes 2 minutes to install and uninstall (for service). I can really feel the difference and it's more than fast enough for me - especially for the price and the ease of use. It's certainly not as fast as a vette, but for the number of times I'll try to get top acceleration out of it, it's more than enough to put my license at risk...

Also curious about this. Did you upgrade the oil cooler? Have you had any overheating issues?

I sort of feel like Vishnu is maxing HP, but not taking into consideration of the longevity of the engine. I really like how Dinan tapers the boost at high RPM's. The Procede does seem to give the most HP, but only time will tell if there are any adverse affects on the engine because of it.

i have factory oil cooler, i dont really worry how long the engine would last. If you want to go fast there are chance to take too. I change the oil every 7500 miles but thats about it. I beat the car all the time. The weak point of the car is the clutch which its been replace once ar 17000 miles

For that price in mods...better off with M3 and better resale value too.
Vishnu is better in terms of price-power.
