Kewl X5 is on a distinguished road
Actually, waiting to see if eventually BMW will put that darn twin-turbo V8 in the E70 X5....Sunil dashed my hopes when he stated that the BMW engineers was going to hold off at least for 1 year and only put the twin-turbo engines in the X6. Well, maybe that would be a good thing to get all the bugs out of the twin-turbo V8.....I guess the X5 xDrive 50i will be out by 2010 model year.

I figured I would wait till BMW gets all bugs out until getting another X5/M3. I have a '04 M3 and it has been trouble-free compared with the '01-'03 M3. No blown engines here and had the latest SMG pumps/relay, etc. The '04 M3 has been much more reliable than my '01 E53 X5 (again, early model year jitters, etc.)

However, the E90 M3 sedan looks interesting, but I just get over the interior dash design of the E90/E92 vs. the classic interior look in our E46. IMHO, BMW did a better job updating the E70 interior from the E53 vs. the E90/E92 from the E46s.

The current E90/E92 dash design is okay, just like the E36 interior design was okay.

I will be having the e90 m3. I got rid of me 335 sedan to get a 550 or a m5 had not decided, then I decided to wait to see the new m3 sedan. after driving the M3 severeal times last week, I no longer have a desire to own the M5..well... you know what I mean.... the M5 has a few perks, but unless you have someone tall that will be in the back seat all the time, 3 sedan is fine. my kids never complained about the 335.
I cant wait till my M3 E90 comes in.
did you drive it?
my guess is no, if you still have your e46 and don't have an e90/e92 M3 on order.
