I was able to speak with an X ///M marketing rep who was kind enough to call a BMW contact for some clarification about the euro driving event/ delivery. According to his source you will not take delivery of the X ///M during the event (if you live in the US). Its nothing more then an ///M track day which is focused on the X ///M technology. Build date is in Sept for Oct delivery. In addition to the special X ///M colors (red/blue/black), the standard color pallet will also be available. No engine shots as they didn't want close ups of the engine just yet.
