Well on my 4.6is with the stock wheels and stock Michelin Diamaris, the car could best be described as a well polished hockey puck on ice and snow .... I assume the same on the X5m plus this one is even more overpowered. We do get slick days here in Denver and this is now going to be my daily driver. I don't love the idea of changing tires with the seasons ... it seems like it would ruin the tires to continually take em on and off the wheels ... so I am either leaning to dedicated snow wheels / tires or something to fit the 20's that's good all around (but I kinda doubt those really exist).

Depends.. most seasons we don't have snow that sticks until after Dec 1.

That said, we've had a blizzard on Halloween that dumped about 13" of the white stuff.

In either event, you're right about the RFlats. I'll call my tire guy tomorrow

I feel your pain.

I did the snow tire dance with my previous 4.4.. This is no 4.4 and LeMan's is right about the RFlats.. I've nearly spun my Z06 a couple of time during late season jaunts in the cool weather

I guess maybe one way to dodge the absurd BMW wheel pricing is to buy aftermarket and put the snows on those. I just haven't seen any available

I am told that it impacts the integrity of tire if you swap them more than twice.

I believe there 2 brands who have 20" all season tires, but I will not use them as I prefer winter tires.

You can now get Pirelli Scorpion winter tires in the 20" OEM sizes! I thought about it but with the amount of snow/ice we get here, 315's in the rear can't be a good thing no matter how good of a winter tire. That's just too wide of a tire. I'm putting on my 19's next week. We already got our first taste of winter today with flurries! Getting my wheels powder coated black as we speak.

Great, another set of wheels in the garage

Anyone have links to aftermarket 19" or preferably 20" X5M fitment-correct wheels (that are not chrome)?

Great car, great color. Congrats! I think these are the first pics of the comfort seats and full leather.

Do the headrests have the ///M logo on them?

Nice, I'm glad it has them. Have you sat in both the regular and the comfort seats? Differences?
