I have not sat in the "regular" seats. I have the sport seats in my 4.6is and like them just fine, but thought the comfort seats in other BMW's I've driven were better so I figured i might as well get em...plus i really like the ventilated bit even though its not that big of an effect....still nice on a hot day. From what I can tell the biggest difference is that bit that articulates mid back and the adjustable side bolsters.

about the full leather...yes its very nice, but prolly not worth the extra $$$ and there was no way to get the comfort perf seats without it

I saw a poster in my dealer detailing 2010 costs for extended maintenance. X5/X6M was listed at around $3500 I do not remember what the exact amount was. It was a BMWNA sign not a dealer sign so the rates are published someplace.

Love the Space gray very nice. i am trying to decide between Space gray and Silver Stone. Leaning towards the SilverStone being an M exclusive color but not sure how the blue tinge in the paint will satisfy me in the long run...

Congrats on the car, great color too, first time I see it.

I ordered mine with the full leather/perf seats but in silverstone. I like the contrast the lighter leather brings to the interior. I think a car of this level and price should definitely have the full leather and at that price I'm disappointed the full leather option doesn't include the alcantara headliner like the m5/m6.

I drove an X6 with the ventilated seats and they cooled the seats down really well. =)

The bummer is that there is no comfort seat only option. I'd have sprung for those, but have no need for ventilated seats in my region.

The full leather looks nice. It would be great if they offered a deviated stitching option to better differentiate it from the non-full. Oh well, still looks great.

The silverstone interior is great looking. ///MB what color exterior?

Not Brembo specifically:

Outstanding stopping power with fade reduced to a minimum is guaranteed by the high-performance M brake system, which combines giant four-piston fixed calipers at the front with floating calipers at the rear, combined in each case with large, internally-vented lightweight brake discs. The brake rotors themselves measure 15.6” in diameter at front and 15.2” at rear. They feature a riveted connection to join the aluminum rotor hats with the cast-iron rotor discs.

I originally wanted blue then decided I would probably get tired of the color. I would love silver but don't like silverstone. It looks too baby blue/light blue under most lighting. So, I'm going with white.

I don't think a $95K sports-SUV qualifies as 'poor'.

I don't love the idea of changing tires with the seasons ... it seems like it would ruin the tires to continually take em on and off the wheels ... so I am either leaning to dedicated snow wheels / tires or something to fit the 20's that's good all around (but I kinda doubt those really exist)..

Well that's no fun bro...I say put all that BMW computer code to the test and let the Dynamic Performance Control, M-tuned X-Drive, FlexRay, (and whatever else the engineers packed) fight it out to stabilize your X as it slips and slides its' way on those 20" summer treads. Would LOVE to see what kinds of messages the dash and i-Drive displays send your way, as all those fancy electronic gizmos struggle mightily to overcome basic Newtonian physics!

But in all seriousness, I believe Michelin makes their Latitude Tour HP all-seasons in a 20" staggered version.

as much fun as that sounds, that's something that I would rather do on someone else's 100k car!
