Thanks in advance..
It's a piece of black vinyl - almost like a thick sticker. I don't see that wearing very well. Moreover, it doesn't completely cover the edge of the 'running board'.

IMO, the 'running boards' on the std. E70 are more 'running board' appropriate.

I told my wife 'don't even think about stepping on that 'trim' piece'.

She told me to STFU

Thanks for that post. From that picture that lower valance almost looks like it could be removed and the standard aluminum running boards attached. I wonder how that would look. I realize its not an option. i wonder if I could train my 5 and 7 year old to not step on that. Doubtful.

Hmmm... maybe I need to go for another test drive. Your comments about the tranny are interesting, as I am a huge fan of the new DCT, and still love my SMG.

Overall, that's a pretty compelling write-up. Guess another trip to the dealer is in order. Ha!

I'm proud to say not only have I put some good mileage on her but those miles were executed on some very technical and challenging roads. The fact that the scenery was gorgeous was just gravy.

Well, I am hoping to chime here pretty soon. My vehicle went into production today, two days after the order placed, and have a PCD scheduled. However, just found out that the wrong interior codes were applied. So, instead of full leather with ventilated seats and Nappa dash, I have standard leather and no Nappa dash.

Hopefully it is not too far along. They are supposedly calling the plant now.

B, great review. Cant wait to get it along some back roads back to my house.
