I am glad you did not go to the dark side, I probably would have.
Specs of the new car please, and please take off the clear corners off for the next one.

BMW really did stand behind their car I have been very impressed with BMW and my dealership.
it was a very big factor in my decision to buy a new X5M. I knew the whole time i had the "lucky" one and it wasnt a fair or good representation of a bmw product. I was just wondering if bmw was the company i believed them to be and they are 100%

I love bmw and i will always own one. Even though the 10' was messed up it rocked and it was a pure blast to drive. it looks amazing too, posrche has nothing on the stlye of the x5m. anyway Specs

-2011 X5 M

-Black Sapphire Metallic

-Black Perforated Full Merino Leather (Changed from my old set up)

-Piano black trim

-Active ventilated seat package

-Cold Weather Package

-Driver Assistance Package

-Premium Sound Package

-Rear Climate Package

-Comfort Access keyless entry

-High-gloss Roof Rails

-Nappa Leather Dashboard and Center Console

-Power tailgate

-Soft-close automatic doors (new)

-6-disc DVD Changer

-new tail lights and front camera ( i like the old and dont need another camera)

* black bmw factory grill

* bmw factory euro reflectors

* limo tint

i have already switched out my grill and the euro corners.
i think that the last 3 "extras" make the car perfect

side note/ thread topic

i still currently have the 2010 M and there is no whine at all, i think they did fix that problem. ill get the part #'s and what was exactly done for you guys to try out.....

* a special thanks to Mark Thank you

Sounds like a nice spec. If you did not have it before be cautious of the piano black trim. I have it and I am about as anal as can be and I can't keep it fom getting slight scratches and swirl marks. Plus it shows any and every little smudge..

I agree BMW does stand behind ther products in the end. glad everythign worked out for you and hope your next one is perfect.

My fix as welll seems to be holding no whine sound at all at about 400 miles since the fix...
