BMW Tire and Wheel Protection Value?
Has anyone considered or purchased the BMW Tire and Wheel Protection for their X5M?
They quoted me $1998 for 5 year plan. Is this worth getting? Roads aren't bad in my area and rarely get anything more than a nail/screw, but have had 1-2 blow outs in 20 years of driving.
Dealer cautioned that the X5M tires are easy to damage and run $800 each. Is that possible?

BTW, which part of the SUV experiences chips and needs the 3M film most? I read somewhere than the fenders experience excessive chipping.
