Although the vehicle is great and FUN to drive, this cosmetic issue will completely frustrate a car fanatic.
Not sure why the 3M would need to be replaced at 9000 miles. I have 22k miles on mine. The 3M was placed on my truck around 2,000 miles. I had to repaint several parts because it was "sand blasted". Then installed the 3M and no issues. I live in Wisconsin. From history of my other cars, I anticipate 2-3 years from the 3M then it will need to be replaced.
