Welcome to the board, good to see that there is another X5M in the Charlotte, NC area. I've only seen one other.
Sorry to hear about your issue, sounds like "Limp Mode". This will happen when the systems receives a code that could create major damage to the car. What codes did they pull? 30,000 miles on a 2012 sounds like a lot of miles for a very short period of time. |

Just looked at my paperwork from the Madison BMW dealership. If this makes sense, one of the codes was D1350. Faults found were 2B1A, 2B1B, 2B22, AND 2B2F.
I have no clue what they mean??? |

D1350 is high pressure fuel pump. 2B2F is idle speed control valve 2b22 is throttle valve actuator, the other I think are current measurements voltage codes.
