thanks for the head's up... i had the misfortune of being caught in a 30 degree swing in temperature and woke up to snow one winter with 20" snow tires on one of my other cars when i went for a road trip... the forecast stated 38-45 degrees all week and then all of a sudden woke up with snow on the ground and 3-5 degree temperatures. i slammed the door and the car slid. not a fun experience and definitely something i would not like to experience again.

Your dealer is a moron. The stock Bridgestone are summer performance tires. They are great in rain but when it gets cold or hint of snow, you are out of luck. I would get a dedicated winter set up

they're just trying to get out of having to eat the difference on tires... they put tires on that are spec for the car but not for my region. we're working something out.
