I got the AC handle off ebay, basically the same thing, and I had the same problem with the chrome button, what I did was dremel off the black button all the way down until the chrome one fit over it, and I crazy glued it on! Works great, the only problem is that I cant go back to stock unless I buy the OEM center peice, but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Here is a link to the thread..
